The Board of Directors of the Chilean South African Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Tourism is currently led by Santiago Montt Vicuña.

A lawyer, married, founder of his own company, Montt and Cia. SA, where he holds the position of President and Managing Partner.
He is an expert on corporate tax and foreign investment.
He studied at the University of Chile, where he graduated with the highest qualification and, subsequently, specialized in the University of New York Law School.
Between 1965 and 1968 held the position of Secretary of the Supreme Court Ministers of Chile.
Mr. Montt has taken part on the Boards of several national and international companies, both in Chile and abroad, with extensive experience in Latin America.
He is a well known speaker at numerous conventions and seminars, many of which are sponsored by official institutions in various countries.
Juan Alberto Ruiz Cuéllar

Mr. Ruiz is an industrial engineer, currently Manager of the Copper Supply Chain at Anglo American.
Juan Alberto studied at the University of Chile, where he obtained a Master in Economics. He also has an MBA from the Adolfo Ibáñez University.
Prior to his current position, he was Procurement, Contract Administration and Logistics Manager at Melon S.A., a leading cement corporation.
Alejandra Zamorano

A psychologist by training, she is
a bilingual senior executive, currently Human Resources. Manager at Cementation South America, a South African mining construction company.
Expert in Human Resources strategy, organizational development, compensation, recruitment and leadership development, and change management.
Ms Zamorano served as Manager of Operations and Human Resources at AIG Chile, Latin America and Spain. At Techdata she was Regional Human Resources Manager for South America and Mexico; Regional Manager for Central America in the NGO Fundes Switzerland; Regional Director of Human Resources at Finning South America and Regional Director for Talent Management for Barrick Gold.
John Byrne Pope

Married with three children; since 2000 is Managing Director at Boyden Chile, a leading executive search firm.
He studied business
administration at the Adolfo
Ibáñez Business School and at the Catholic University in ValparaÃso.
He also holds a MBL from the
Adolfo Ibáñez University.
Mr. Byrne started his career in a shipping company and then
moved to the ship agency and logistical company firm, AGUNSA.
Later, in 1981 he left and entered the banking sector with Bank of America as Branch Manager for Chile until 1993, then as Senior Country Officer in Chase
Manhattan and later, as EVP in Banco Sud Americano/ Scotiabank.
In 1997, he founded a middle management executives search company and moved to lead Boyden in Chile in 1999.
He has been a Board member in numerous family, state and publicly traded corporations.
